Prevalence
- The mean prevalence of neck pain is approximately 7.6%(range 5.9–38.7%).
- The lifetime prevalence of neck pain is approximately 48.5% (range 14.2–71.0%).[1]
Age
- Patients of all age groups may develop neck pain,but is more common in middle age.[1]
Race
- There is no racial predilection to neck pain.
Gender
