Headaches in children is a common medical presentation in children and adolescents. Headaches in children may be classified according to the presence or absence of an underlying disorder into two subtypes: primary headache disorders, and secondary headache disorders. Primary headache disorders are not due to an underlying disorder and secondary headache disorders can be due to trauma, infections, tumors, vascular, hypoxia, or metabolic.
