Overview
Dexchlorpheniramine maleate (Polaramine®, Schering) is an antihistamine used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever or urticaria. It is the pharmacologically active isomer of chlorpheniramine and seems to possess no advantage over the more common parent drug.
