Overview
Diffuse lymphoma is a type of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma where there is not a detectable pattern to the tumor's progression through the lymph node (in contrast to follicular lymphoma.) [1]
Classification
The distinction between "diffuse" and "follicular" is only one of many distinctions made in classifying NHL. (See Non-Hodgkin_lymphoma#Types_of_non-Hodgkin.27s_lymphoma for more details.)
