Classification
Vasculitides can be classified by the size of the blood vessel that they predominantly affect.[1]
Large vessel vasculitis
Takayasu arteritis Giant cell (temporal) arteritis
Medium vessel vasculitis
Small vessel vasculitis
There are several vasculitides that affect small vessels.[2]
