- Calculous cholecystitis(58%)
- Acalculous cholecystitis(42%)[1]
Other types are
- Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis
- Emphysematous cholecystitis
- Eosinophilic and lymphoeosinophilic cholecystitis.
