Signs and symptoms
Nephritic syndrome is characterized by;
- proteinuria (protein in the urine)
- hematuria (blood in the urine), with red blood cell (RBC) casts present in the urine
- hypertension (high blood pressure)
and variable renal insufficiency, with;
