- Elevated mean corpuscular volume (MCV) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCHC)
- Mild thrombocytopenia
- Elevated LDH
- Elevated gammaglutamyl transpeptidase
- Serum concentrations of magnesium and zinc may be reduced
