Patient Counseling Information
Instruct patients to report syncopal events or new pre-syncopal symptoms, as these may be signs of either hypotension or Torsade de Pointes.
Instruct patients to inform a nurse or physician if pain or swelling develop at the infusion site, or if an alarm sounds from the infusion pump.[1]
