Overview
In patients with acute and chronic hepatitis no specific findings are detected on ECG. If patient progress to cirrhosis prolonged QT intervals and attenuated voltage may be observed.
Electrocardiogram
In patients with acute and chronic hepatitis no specific findings are detected on ECG. Abnormalities of cardiac electrophysiology are noted in patients that progress to cirrhosis. The most common finding is QT interval prolongation which may be a sign of cirrhotic cardiomyopathy, and attenuation of ECG voltage.[1] [2]
