Eyes
Ophthalmic cysticercosis
- Visual difficulties that fluctuate with eye position
- Retinal edema and hemorrhage
Neurologic
Neurocysticercosis
- Altered consciousness in postictal phase
- Focal neurological deficit
Extremities
Cysticercosis in muscles
- Muscular pseudohypertrophy, which initiate with muscle swelling
- Muscular atrophy and fibrosis at later stage
Subcutaneous cysticercosis
- Subcutaneous cysts are in the form of firm, mobile nodules, occurring mainly on the trunk and extremities.[1]
