Overview
Dextrothyroxine (trade name Choloxin) saw research as an cholesterol-lowering drug but was pulled due to cardiac side-effects. It also increases hepatic lipase which in turn improves utilization of triglycerides, improving apolipoprotein E cholesterol particles.
