Overview
Near of half the patients were asymptomatic and get thymoma diagnosed during a routine chest x-ray.
Chest X Ray
Chest x-ray: An x-ray test is a basic test for thymoma. It may go through the chest and make a picture of areas inside the body.
Features of X-ray
- Oval to rounded, well demarctated asymmetric homogeneous mass of soft tissue density and usually on one side of the midline.
- Wide mediastinum.
- displacement of heart and/or great vessels posteriorly.
