- Carney-Stratakis syndrome- People with this rare, inherited condition have an increased risk of GISTs, as well as nerve tumors called paragangliomas.
- Familial gastrointestinal stromal tumor syndrome- It is a rare, inherited condition that leads to an increased risk of developing GISTs.
