There are no known measures for preventing retinoblastoma. preimplantation genetic diagnosis has been performed, for families with a known germline mutation. In this procedure, embryos are fertilized using standard IVF techniques and are then biopsied at the 8 cell stage. There are no known measures for preventing retinoblastoma. preimplantation genetic diagnosis has been performed, for families with a known germline mutation.
