Ultrasound Findings in Choriocarcinoma
Ultrasound is usually the first test done if suspects a gestational trophoblastic tumour is suspected. It is used to:
- Identify most types of gestational trophoblastic disease
- Check for metastasis in the pelvis or abdomen
- plan treatment
