Overview
Other diagnostic studies for follicular thyroid cancer include radioiodine scan, which demonstrates [finding 1], [finding 2], and [finding 3].
Key Findings in Radioiodine scan in Follicular Thyroid Cancer
- Metastases can be detected by radioiodine scan of the whole body as location of increased uptake of radioactive iodine.
Key Examples of Radioiodine scan in Follicular Thyroid Cancer
Key Findings in Laryngoscopy
A procedure in which the doctor checks the larynx (voice box) with a mirror or with a laryngoscope. A laryngoscope is a thin, tube-like instrument with a light and a lens for viewing. A thyroid tumor may press on vocal cords. The laryngoscopy is done to see if the vocal cords are moving normally. The following features may be noted.
- Vocal cord immobility
- Air way compression
