* Slow growing, painless, well circumscribed
* Located at the angle of the mandible


 
* Cystic spaces surrounded by two uniform rows of cells
* Biphasic mixture of polygonal epithelial cells and spindle-shaped myoepithelial cells
* Centrally placed pyknotic nuclei
* Mucoid, myxoid, cartilaginous or hyaline stroma
* Papillary infoldings
* Duct-like structures, sheets, clumps and/or interlacing strands of cells
* Lymphoid stroma and germinal center formation
* No myoepithelial component
 
 
* Bilaterally cystic lesion
* Located posteriorly within the parotidfocal tumour nodulerelatively well defined
* No calcification
