  • Multiple high-signal-intensity lobules on T2-weighted MRI with flow voids representing vessels of different sizes
  • Punctate low-signal-intensity areas indicate calcification or thrombosis


  • Disorganized proliferation of dilated ,thin walled , leaky blood vessels with numerous red blood cells
  • Lined by atypical endothelial cells
  • Intravascular calcification and thrombosis
  • VEGF over expression
