- Multiple high-signal-intensity lobules on T2-weighted MRI with flow voids representing vessels of different sizes
- Punctate low-signal-intensity areas indicate calcification or thrombosis
- Disorganized proliferation of dilated ,thin walled , leaky blood vessels with numerous red blood cells
- Lined by atypical endothelial cells
- Intravascular calcification and thrombosis
- VEGF over expression
