Hemangioma causes

• About 30% of hemangiomas are present at birth. The rest appear in the first several months of life.

• The hemangioma may be:

• In the top skin layers (capillary hemangioma)
• Deeper in the skin (cavernous hemangioma)
• A mixture of both
