* Located in the medullary cavity at the metaphyseal region

* Small lytic lesions, sharply defined scalloped margin, and narrow zone of transition
* Narrow zone of transition
* Expansion of the overlying cortex
* Non-sclerotic margins
* Rings and arcs of calcifications
* Internal pseudotrabeculation
* No periosteal reaction
 
 
* Mature, bland fibroblasts
* Little cellularity, no pleomorphism
* Abundant collagenous stroma
* Thin walled, dilated vascular channels
