- Asymptomatic found incidentally on imaging
- May have adjacent muscle soreness, pressure, or irritation with heavy exercising
- Pathological fractures
- Hard, immobile, painless palpable mass
- Limited range of movements
- Sessile or pedunculated lesion located at the metaphyseal region of the femur
- Cartilage cap
- Irregular subchondral bone
- Projecting away from the epiphysis
- Composed of bone, cartilage, and perichondrium
- Pink fibrous capsule
- Normal bony trabeculae
- Absence of spindle cells
