Overview
Neck CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of Warthin's tumor. Findings on CT scan suggestive of Warthin's tumor include cystic lesion posteriorly within the parotid with a focal tumour nodule and absence of calcifications.
Key CT Findings in Warthin's tumor
- Can be often seen bilaterally[1]
- Classic appearance is a cystic lesion posteriorly within the parotid with a focal tumour nodule
- Relatively well defined
- Cystic changes appear as intralesional lower attenuation
- No calcification
