Overview
Symptoms of extramammary Paget's disease include pruritis, vulvar pain, vulvar bleeding, and burning sensation.[1][2][3]
History
In any patient with chronic dermatitis of the vulva, groin, or perianal are, the possibility of extramammary Paget disease (EMPD) should be carefully considered. Patients with EMPD usually present with nonresolving eczematous lesions in the genitalia, groin, perineum, or perianal area.[4]
Symptoms
Symptoms of extramammary Paget's disease include the following:[1][2][3]
- Pruritis
- Pruritus is the most common symptom, occurring in around approximately 70% of patients
- Vulvar pain
- Vulvar bleeding
- Burning sensation
