• Loss of INI1 (also known as hSNF5 and SMARCB1) which is a member of SWI/SNF multi-subunit chromatin remodeling complex located on the long arm of chromosome 22 (22q11.2) has been a diagnostic modality of epithelioid sarcoma.
• Immunohistochemical staining of INI1 is available and can be used for the diagnosis of epithelioid sarcoma.
