Slit Lamp Examination
Slit lamp examination is currently used for differentiating between anterior and posterior blepharitis. The slit lamp examination can help distinguish anterior and posterior blepharitis.
- Meibomian gland Enlargement (posterior blepharitis)
- Waxy secretions at the gland openings (posterior blepharitis)
- Lid margin neovascularization and dilation of existing blood vessels
- Ulcerations along the eyelid margin.
- Corneal nodules
- Corneal margin ulcer
- Superficial corneal pannus
Tear Break Up Time
