History and Symptoms
Symptoms of DRESS syndrome include the following:
Common Symptoms
- Rash (almost always present, may be pruritic)
- Fever (present in approximately 80% of patients)
- Fatigue
Less Common Symptoms
- Myalgia
- Facial edema
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Dyspnea
- Bruise
- Epistaxis
- Oral and perioral pain (caused by mucosal lesions in the oral cavity)
- Confusion
