Orbital cellulitis must be differentiated from preseptal cellulitis.
Differential Diagnosis
Orbital cellulitis may share common features or present similarly to other eye diseases with significantly varying management protocols. As such, the clinician must carefully consider the patient's history, the presenting signs and symptoms, and cross reference the following differentials:[1][2]
