Overview
Mastitis is caused by bacteria mostly Staphylococcus aureus[1] found on normal skin, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus, E. coli, and Mycoplasma. It may also be caused by Fungus mostly Candida sp. that may be found in the oral cavity of the baby.
