Professional Background

Dr. Prince Djan graduated from University of Ghana Medical School in March 2011 and holds MBChB. After graduation, Dr. Djan worked as house officer at the department of Medicine and Surgery of Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana from May 2011 to May 2012. Immediately following that, he worked as a senior house officer in the department of Pediatrics and Obstetric and Gynecology at La General Hospital from June 2012 to May 2013. Dr. Djan continued as an independent general practitioner at Nyaho Medical center in Accra from June 2013 till December 2015. In addition, Dr. Djan has worked on part-time basis at the University of Ghana Hospital Legon in Accra, King David Hospital and Denmida Medical Center all in Ghana. Prior to His Medical education, he completed four years undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences also from University Of Ghana in 2007. During his medical training, Dr. Djan participated in hands-on clinical clerkship at University of Michigan Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in December 2009 to January 2010. He also had clinical clerkship at University of Freiburg Cardiovascular Clinic in Germany in November 2009. He currently works as post-doctoral research fellow at PERFUSE Study Group at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston as well as associate editor-in-chief at WikiDoc Foundation.
