Pulmonary regurgitation is caused by the following:
- Following repair of tetralogy of Fallot
- Following balloon or surgical valvulotomy or valvuloplasty for pulmonary stenosis
- Absent pulmonary valve syndrome
- Isolated congenital PR
- Peripheral pulmonary artery stenosis
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Right ventricular outlet aneurysm
