Symptoms

Symptoms of pyogenic liver abscess include:

• Right lower chest pain
• Clay colored stools
• Fever, chills and night sweats
• Dark urine
• Pain in the right upper abdomen (more common) and diffuse abdomen (less common)
• Nausea and vomiting
• Loss of appetite
• Weakness
• Unintensional weight loss
• Yellowish discoloration of skin and sclera
