Signs and Symptoms
Symptoms of rubella infection include:
- Low grade fever
- Skin rash which starts on the face and spreads to the rest of the body
- Sore throat
- Lymph node swelling in the neck
- Headache
- Malaise
- Anorexia
- Mild conjunctivitis
- Runny nose
- About 25 to 50% of people infected with rubella will not experience any symptoms
