Overview
Chest X-Ray
- Chest radiography in a patient with pulmonary cryptococcosis may demonstrate interstitial infiltrates or pleural effusion and hilar lymphadenopathy.[1]
- Other less common findings that can be present on chest X-ray in patients with pulmonary cryptococcosis include:[2]
- Nonspecific segmental pneumonias
- Cavitation
- Lymphadenopathy
- Pleural effusion
- Generalized miliary disease
