Overview
Medical Therapy
Medical therapy with anti helmenthic medications is the primary modality of treatment. The following are the choice of drugs available for the treatment of whipworm infection:
- Albendazole: 400mg orally for 3 days
- Mebendazole: 100mg twice a day for 3 days
- Ivermectin: 200mcg/kg/day for 3days
