Overview
The prevalence of diabetes insipidus is estimated to be 4:100,000. Some forms of diabetes insipidus such as the X-linked NDI has a male predominance with an estimated incidence of 0.8 to 1 per 100,000 male live births. However, most forms of diabetes insipidus does not vary by gender.
