- However, The National Institue of Child Health and Human Development’s Division of Epidemiology, Statistics, and Prevention Research (DESPR) is exploring early signs of PCOS in teenage girls and examining the relationships among ovarian shape and size, obesity around the waist, and biomarkers of insulin resistance in early PCOS.
