Overview
Gynecomastia which is recent in onset and tender on the examination should have serum concentrations of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), LH, testosterone, and estradiol measured.
Laboratory Findings
- Asmptomatic gynecomastia which is discovered on physical examination and have no underlying known pathology has low diagnostic yield of labs.
- Gynecomastia which is tender and of recent onset should have, following lab work up:[1][2][3][4]
