• Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of Riedel's thyroiditis include elevated ESR, mild elevation of thyroid peroxidase antibodies and occasionally elevated TSH levels.

• Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of [disease name] include
  • Elevated ESR
  • Mildly elevated thyroid peroxidase antibodies
  • Mildly elevated white blood cells
  • Elevated levels of TSH (in one-third cases)
