Acute presentation shows non-hemorrhagic pituitary gland enlargement while chronic presentation shows an empty sella or decreased sellar volume.
CT scan
- Acute presentation shows non-hemorrhagic pituitary gland enlargement.[1]
- Chronic presntation shows
- Ring enhancement surrounding a low attenuation empty sella.
