Overview
Electrocardiogram findings of toxic adenoma is mainly due to thyrotoxicosis. Common ECG changes seen with thyrotoxicosis are sinus tachycardia and atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response
Electrocardiogram
Electrocardiogram findings of toxic adenoma is mainly due to thyrotoxicosis. Common ECG changes seen with thyrotoxicosis are:[1]
- Sinus tachycardia
- Atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response
- Non-specific ST and T wave changes
- Ventricular extrasystoles
- Supraventricular arrhythmias (premature atrial beats, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, multifocal atrial tachycardia, atrial flutter).
