General appearance

  • Altered mentation

Vitals

  • Hyperventilation
  • Hypothermia
  • Hypotension—late
  • Bradycardia

Skin

  • Dry, cool, doughy skin
  • Alopecia
  • Coarse, sparse hair

Gastrointestinal

  • Decreased Bowel sounds
  • Abdominal distension
  • Fecal impaction

HEENT

  • Myxedematous face
  • Macroglossia
  • Ptosis
  • Periorbital edema

Extremities

Nonpitting edema

Neurology

  • Decreased reflexes
