Overview
Head and neck MRI scan may be diagnostic of ameloblastoma. Findings on MRI suggestive of ameloblastoma include mixed solid and cystic pattern, with thick irregular wall, often with papillary solid structures projecting into the lesion.[1]

In general ameloblastomas demonstrate a mixed solid and cystic pattern, with a thick irregular wall, often with papillary solid structures projecting into the lesion. These components tend to vividly enhance.[1]
