Overview
Abdominal CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of Whipple's disease. Findings on CT scan suggestive of Whipple's disease include thickening of small bowel folds and enlarged abdominal lymph nodes. CNS involvement may present with associated CT findings depending on type of lesion.

- Thickening of small bowel fold
- Enlarged mesenteric and retroperitoneal lymph nodes
- Head CT scan finding may be normal or may show:[1]
- Cerebral atrophy
- Focal lesions
- Hydrocephalus
