Overview
Standardised protocol is used to identify individulas, who may be at risk for suicide. Various scales have been used to predict the suicide risk. Some of them being Columbia suicide severity rating scale (C-SSRS)
Screening
Although screening assessment for suicide risk is only a part of the broader aspect of suicide risk assessment, a number of scales are available:
- Suicide Behaviors Questionnaire-Revised (SBQ-R)
The Positive and Negative Suicide Ideation Inventory (PANSI)
- Suicidal Behaviors Questionnaire (SBQ)
- Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation (BSS)
- Risk-Rescue Rating (of Weisman and Worden for Suicide Assessment)
