Symptoms of melanoma include a rapidly growing existing nevus, non-healing skin ulcers, pruritus, or bone pain.

History and Symptoms

Symptoms of melanoma include the following:

• Rapid growth of an existing nevus
• Bleeding nevus
• Cutaneous nodules
• Hyper/hypopigmented skin lesion
• Lymphatic masses
• Melanonychia (brown/blue nail discoloration)
• Non-healing skin ulcer
• Painful skin lesion
• Pruritus
• Bone pain
