Overview
Chest X Ray
Very useful initial diagnostic test and is abnormal in most patients with perforation which shows:[1]
- Unilateral effusion usually on the left.
- Pneumothorax
- Hydropneumothorax
- Pneumomediastinum
- Subcutaneous emphysema
- Mediastinal widening.
