Overview
Linitis plastica is a subtype of gastric cancer. Stomach cancer is classified by the degree of tumor spread using the Lauren's criteria into intestinal type and diffuse type adenocarcinoma. The staging of stomach cancer is based on the TNM staging AJCC UICC 2017 staging system .
