Patients with fibroadenoma usually appear normal. Physical examination of patients with fibroadenoma is usually remarkable for a painless, firm, solitary, well-circumscribed, and mobile breast mass. Breast asymmetry can be seen in some patients.

Common physical examination findings associated with fibroadenoma include:[1][2]

- Patients with fibroadenoma usually appear normal
Vital Signs
- Vital signs of patients with fibroadenoma are usually normal.
Breast Exam
- Firm, nontender, and solitary mass.
- Multiple masses are found in a few cases.
- Clearly demarcated mass of about 2 to 3 cm in size (can range from less than 1 cm to greater than 10 cm).
- Smooth, mobile, and rubbery in consistency
- Breast asymmetry.
- Breast hypertrophy.
Skin
- Skin examination of patients with fibroadenoma is usually normal.
HEENT

Neck
