When pain occurs, the woman experiencing dyspareunia may be distracted from feeling pleasure and excitement. Based on the underlying cause, there are different associated symptoms.

It may be associated with a burning sensation along with the pain or irritation of the skin on the penis with a rash formation or lack of sexual desire, inability to get aroused, inability to experience orgasm
